Elvis Mitchell is the new head of the financially strained film programme at LACMA. Mitchell will replace Ian Bernie, who has run the department since 1996. Mitchell previously worked at KCRW radio as a film critic. He hosts a show called “The Treatment”, in which he interviews various figures in cinema and entertainment.
