Nada goes online

Fair to work with website Paddle8 to preview and sell art
Art website Paddle8 is currently hosting a show curated by actor Robin Williams and his son Zak (until 25 October)

LONDON. The Nada art fair has teamed up with Paddle8, a website which hosts exhibitions and sells contemporary art from galleries such as David Zwirner and Gagosian, for its Miami edition this December.

From 25 November, a week before Nada opens, the site will preview the work to be displayed at the fair and Paddle8 members will be able to purchase art online. The art will remain on the website for a week after the fair closes.

Paddle8 co-founder Alexander Gilkes said the website aimed to “compliment, rather than replace, the opportunity to view works in person” and that a number of ancillary services such as shipping and insurance would also be available on the site.

Paddle8 is currently hosting a show curated by actor Robin Williams and his son Zak (until 25 October) and will next feature works selected by Marina Abramovic in an exhibition opening on 26 October.
