Basel’s Museum für Gegenwartskunst has devoted its top floor to a stunning array of installations, drawings and vitrines by Joseph Beuys, put on a two-year loan from a private Swiss collection in the autumn. The spare display of some of Beuys’s best has drawn such discerning admirers as Nick Serota.
