Forbes Russia, the Russian-language version of the prominent American business magazine, dedicated its November issue to collections recently created by the country’s new rich. These range from classical to contemporary art, as well as postage stamps and weapons. Banking billionaire Pyotr Aven gets a special mention for his collection of Russian modernist paintings and early Soviet porcelain, as did the Club of Contemporary Collectors headed by financier Mikhail Tsarev.
