The Art Newspaper can reveal that the Royal Collection will next year tour its Leonardo drawings to celebrate the 60th birthday of Prince Charles on 14 November 2008. Ten of the finest works will be presented, with a mixture of subjects, including anatomical studies and rushing water scenes. The touring exhibition opens in Truro (Royal Cornwall Museum) on 10 May 2008, and then goes on to Stirling (Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum) and Cardiff (National Library of Wales), where it will be on the royal birthday. The final venue is Manchester Art Gallery, opening on 14 February 2009.
