On 25 April, the Ukrainian billionaire Victor Pinchuk will open the largest ever exhibition of works by UK artist Damien Hirst, including recent acquisitions to his collection. Entitled “Requiem”, the show at the Pinchuk Art Centre in Kiev is a retrospective of over 100 Hirst works from 1990 to 2008 that have been loaned by major international collectors. Mr Pinchuk said he acquired art at Hirst’s solo auction in September at Sotheby’s in London. Oil-on-canvas works to be displayed at Mr Pinchuk’s museum include White Roses and Butterflies, 2008 (above).
