Works co-created by Tracey Emin and the late Louise Bourgeois go on show in London this month (Hauser & Wirth, 18 February-12 March). Bourgeois produced 16 gouache paintings of torsos, which were printed with archival dyes on cloth. These pieces were sent to Emin, who added drawings and text, and then reprinted. An edition of 18 sets are available, and six artist proofs (prices undisclosed). Emin told The Art Newspaper: “It’s an accolade as I feel Louise was holding a baton that I should take, in terms of passing the work on to me. Not many people want to collaborate with me.”
