Tate Acquisitions: Felix Gonzalez-Torres

The artist's work is among 287 purchases made by Tate in the last year

The Tate acquired 287 works of art last year, including Untitled (Double Passage), 1991, by Felix Gonzalez-Torres, adding to its growing number of joint purchases, this time with the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo, New York. The Tate’s American patrons and its Latin American acquisitions committee supported the purchase. The Tate’s share was £443,400.
