An exhibition of Chinese contemporary works drawn from the collection of the Swiss collector Uli Sigg is due to open early next year in two major museums in Bern. Chinese Whispers, comprising works that Sigg has acquired since 2005, will launch at the Kunstmuseum Bern (2 February-28 April 2016) and the Zentrum Paul Klee (19 February-19 June 2016). The show also includes several of the 1,500 pieces donated and sold by Sigg to Hong Kong's M+ museum, which is expected to open in 2019. Jin Jiangbo’s video installation Poetic Writing for Nature (2013) is among the works in the Bern show. Eighty works from the M+ Sigg holdings are also due to go on display at the Whitworth gallery in Manchester next month (1 July-20 September).
