Good enough to eat: the Rodin made from cheese

Ever fancied munching on a Munch or polishing off a Picasso? The Art Fund has launched an Edible Masterpieces fundraising initiative—a competition inviting art-loving bakers to create tasty versions of their favourite works. Photographs must be submitted by 11 October, along with the £10 entry fee, which will help to support UK museums and galleries. A KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer will go to the winner, to be chosen by a panel of judges including the Guardian’s art critic, Jonathan Jones. Entrants can’t fail to be inspired by the examples given on the UK charity’s website: “Rodin’s The Kiss reinterpreted in cheese and Barbara Hepworth’s Pelagos recreated in the form of a bread roll.”

Can you do better? We want to see your creations. Tweet us @theartnewspaper
