New work by light and space artist

New and recent works by James Turrell are scheduled to go on show this month at the Kayne Griffin Corcoran gallery in Los Angeles (8 November-16 January 2016). The artist will show works from the “Elliptical Wide Glass” series, a collection of coloured, etched glass installations illuminated by LED displays that Turrell began working on in 2006. It is a busy month for the artist, who will be honoured on 7 November at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s Art and Film Gala. The award follows on from his well-received retrospective there last year.
