Mexico and California galleries share show

The Mexico City gallery Kurimanzutto has a history of sending group shows of its artists to international colleagues, including Galerie Chantal Crousel in Paris in 2001, and Galeria Foksal in Warsaw in 2006. Now, it has joined with the San Francisco gallerist Jessica Silverman to present the exhibition From Here To There (until 5 March). Silverman says that the gallery partners José Kuri and Monica Manzutto came to her with the idea of “translating their programme into a different context”. The show takes over her entire gallery, with Danh Vo’s wool rugs on the floor and Dr Lakra’s magazine nude transformations in the bathroom, along with works by Adrián Villar Rojas.
