Supermodels descend on Rotterdam

A throng of 1980s supermodels came out in force for last month’s opening of an exhibition dedicated to the German fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh at the Kunsthal Rotterdam (A Different Vision on Fashion Photography, until 12 February 2017). Over the years, Lindbergh has turned his lens on the catwalk’s biggest names, from Naomi Campbell to Cindy Crawford, who joined Milla Jovovich and music legend Tina Turner at the vernissage. But where was another of the photographer’s muses, Kate Moss? It was a disappointing no-show from Croydon’s finest; perhaps she was washing her hair.
