The Terracotta Warriors are heading to the UK in 2018. National Museums Liverpool and China’s Shaanxi History Museum signed a co-operative agreement in November to send a selection of the sculptures to England, according to China News Service. Yang Jin, the director of Shaanxi History Museum’s research office, says that further details have yet to be confirmed. The Qin-era statues last visited the UK for a 2007 British Museum show, which attracted 850,000 visitors. They continue to rack up frequent-flyer miles: in 2016, they visited Japan and the US.
