Spotted diligently surveying the Biennale in Venice (where he stayed at the Danieli), and now very much in evidence here in Basel, is the much loved British actor Michael York, who so memorably played the freshfaced ingenue in the movie Cabaret. However, when out and about in the art world, the now rather more mature Mr York has to take a back seat, since it is his artist wife Pat who is the main attraction, with her disturbing photographs strikingly on show at Gmursynska Gallery.
