Tate director heads to Houston instead of Miami

Serota takes a mysterious trip

Tate director Sir Nicholas Serota revealed on Monday that he’s heading Stateside this week—but to Houston not Miami. When asked why he’d plumped for Texas over Florida, he smiled enigmatically and strolled away. Houston is, of course, home to famous institutions including the Menil Collection and the Contemporary Arts Museum as well as the equally world renowned Houston Gun Collectors Association which organises monthly shows—what could Sir Nicholas be planning next?
