Vancouver collectors open private art museum

The inaugural exhibition at the Rennie Collection will showcase sculptor Mona Hatoum

Canadian real estate marketer Bob Rennie, who has quietly amassed over a thousand contemporary artworks, is going public with the opening of a private museum in Vancouver on Oct. 24. The inaugural exhibition at the Rennie Collection will be a solo show of London and Berlin-based sculptor Mona Hatoum. Catherine Grenier, the Pompidou’s chief curator of contemporary art is writing the essay for the exhibition catalogue.
