Works drawn from the 1,200-strong contemporary holdings of Swiss collector Monique Burger are set to go on show in Asia later this year. Burger is examining proposals to display her collection in spaces in Hong Kong, Tokyo and Beijing. Artists represented in the collection include Fiona Banner, Nalini Malani, Collier Schorr and Bharti Kher. In contrast to many key private collectors, Burger eschews the idea of a permanent gallery for her collection. She also plans to show her collection in Mumbai and Brussels in the next three to four years.
