Paris Museés, the organisation that represents 14 museums in the city, partnered with the digital agency Kindai and ten popular Instagram users to promote the launch of its searchable digital archive last month, which include images of more than 180,000 works from museums such as the Louvre, the Centre Georges Pompidou, the Paris Museum of Modern Art and others under its umbrella. The campaign, titled Parallels by Paris Museés, recreates classic works of arts—such as Woman with Blue Eyes (1918) by Modigliani and Portrait of Sarah Bernhardt (1876) by Georges Clairin—with a modern twist. Prints of the campaign will be displayed on the walls of the Gare Saint Lazare railway station in Paris until 31 July this year.
