The famous Paris flea market Les Puces de Paris Saint-Ouen has entered cyberspace through a three-year partnership with eBay, which was announced in June. So far, more than 40 traders have signed up to show their wares through the portal, with another 40 on a waiting list to join, according to Nicholas Moufflet, a dealer in old posters who heads the association representing most of the market’s 2,000 or so stallholders. The partnership “will give our traders international visibility on the web and mobile phones, bringing in new clients and, we hope, increased turnover”, Moufflet says. Online access is at ebay.fr/puces-de-paris-saint-ouen.
