Deviating from tradition, New York’s The Art Show, the Art Dealers Association of America’s annual fair, opens the week before the Armory Show, with which it usually coincides in the first week of March. The 72 exhibitors include Locks Gallery, of Philadelphia, which is bringing Joseph Cornell’s Construction II (Custodian, Silent Dedication to Marilyn Monroe; 1963).

• The Art Show, 28 February-4 March, Park Avenue Armory, New York
