The Art Newspaper reaches a milestone this month with the publication of its 300th issue. We’re also making waves with the launch of the latest addition to our digital portfolio, The Art Newspaper Daily-Edition Française, led by managing editor Philippe Régnier. But some art-world stalwarts have confused the publication with a makeover expert on the latest Netflix smash, Queer Eye, in which five gay men transform mainly heterosexual men into more fashionable figures. The Art Newspaper can be abbreviated to T.A.N. and the TV show’s fashion guru is called Tan France, bringing to mind our Parisian friends and prompting much excitement when Monsieur France posts on social media.
