The most underrated art movement is…

the post-war school of Paris! Do I have a vested interest in this answer?

The artist I should have signed is…

Nicolas de Staël. Unfortunately, I was born 11 years after he took his own life. That is fine; I like his children and grandchildren very much.

Dealers are misunderstood because…

they like to be perceived as artists themselves (when they are not), because they like to be perceived as curators (when they are not) and because they hate to be perceived as dealers (which is exactly what they are).

The next big thing is…

our exhibition at Fiac, in Paris, dedicated to the great eye of Michel Tapié, with paintings by Jean Fautrier, Sam Francis and so on.

Life’s too short…

to think I still have time to do it.

Things that keep me awake at 3am include…

concerns, headaches, troubles.

I’d rather visit a museum than…

an art fair.

Small talk is…

not for me.

I last cooked for…

I can’t even remember.

My favourite box set is…

the Pink Floyd remastered collection from August 1964 to November 2014. Unfortunately, the recent political speeches of Roger Waters spoil my pleasure.
