The Zurich gallery Hauser & Wirth is opening a new space in London where it will offer secondary market works by 19th- and 20th-century artists. It is leasing the space in Old Bond Street from old master specialists Colnaghi. The opening exhibition is a collection of nudes by Francis Picabia (4-28 October). Hauser & Wirth at Colnaghi is the dealers’ third London space, opening just months after the massive Coppermill space in the East End designed for large-scale projects. Hauser & Wirth will continue to show work by emerging and established contemporary artists in its main space at 196A Piccadilly.
