Rome’s Galleria Borghese plans to show work by the leading Chinese artist Yang Fudong (Marian Goodman Gallery, 1C1A) next year, our sister paper Il Giornale dell’Arte reports. The gallery in the historic Villa Borghese is working on the show with Shanghai’s Aurora Museum. Yang Fudong’s work will be installed among the Old Master collection in Rome, which includes sculptures by Bernini and paintings by Caravaggio. Villa Borghese is also planning a Picasso show in collaboration with the Musée Picasso Paris for 2018. Last year, the gallery presented clothes designed by Azzedine Alaïa among the sculptures and paintings in the historic villa.
