This special podcast marks the sad news that the London-based dealer and publisher Karsten Schubert has died, aged just 57, after a long illness. In September 2018, we asked the artist Michael Landy to interview Karsten for a special artist issue of The Art Newspaper at the Frieze Art Fair in London, for which artists wrote all the content. Knowing that Karsten was something of a collector, we wondered if Michael might talk to him for our Collector’s Eye slot. We gave them a list of 10 set questions, but they went far beyond the script....
